The recipe is also in the 15 Minute Meals cookbook - they are the same, as far as I'm aware.OohLookBelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11031489606743430354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259536473826194612.post-69639870320177536912013-04-20T14:43:36.612+10:002013-04-20T14:43:36.612+10:00Is this recipe in his book that has been out since...Is this recipe in his book that has been out since before Christmas or are they more up to date?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259536473826194612.post-49940833688151255462013-01-10T11:39:37.526+11:002013-01-10T11:39:37.526+11:00What happens if you only have one of those microwa...What happens if you only have one of those microwave steamers (a bowl with a basket inside and a lid). Does anyone think I could still make the buns????? Though I did wonder if it would take 15 or 60 minutes :) Ultimately I don't mind spending more time, and, as you said, I think the show is perfect for getting ideas. Based on your review I'm definitely going to make these :)Yasmeenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17921891926536652584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259536473826194612.post-77216038253509143722012-11-15T11:30:13.574+11:002012-11-15T11:30:13.574+11:00Oh! I did reduce the quantities of the original recipe and ended up with 4 large buns, if that helps.OohLookBelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11031489606743430354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259536473826194612.post-25765174166603974502012-11-13T09:27:52.123+11:002012-11-13T09:27:52.123+11:00Yaya received this book as a birthday present and ...Yaya received this book as a birthday present and I too was hooked by the possibility of fresh buns in 15 minutes or less! It did only take minutes to mix but getting the mix out of the food processor and trying to divide it into the requisite smaller buns took the remainder of the 15 minutes and let's not even get into the WASHING of the processor! Jamie also doesn't specify what size steamer so next time I will halve the recipe! : Dgummi babyhttp://yayasyumyums.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259536473826194612.post-53273881365882148442012-11-12T09:20:40.174+11:002012-11-12T09:20:40.174+11:00I was just going to ask you how long it took you e...I was just going to ask you how long it took you exactly. I don't think they ever factor in cutting and chopping time! This looks like a GREAT meal, no matter how long it took though. LOVE those buns!Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17133232352924060797noreply@blogger.com
